Kayla Dixon

Getting her start in musical theatre at an early age, Kayla has had the opportunity to study a wide range of vocal techniques ranging from operatic to death metal. Her formative years were spent studying jazz vocal techniques in the interim between theatre productions. She has received training at Duke Ellington School of the Arts as well as Dance Theatre of Harlem, Levine School of Music and Baldwin Wallace University. She has worked alongside notable individuals including Billy Porter, Titus Burgess, and Stafford Arima while interning for the Broadway Dreams foundation. She has also had the opportunity to act alongside Elijah Wood, Melanie Lynsky, Fred Armisen, Carrie Brownstein and Jimmy Smitts on screen in various film and television projects. Kayla currently serves as the front-woman for two internationally touring metal bands (Witch Mountain-Portland OR/ Dress the Dead- Oakland CA) while maintaining her theatre, film and television pursuits. She is also a vocal coach of almost ten years in almost every vocal style.
